To acquire money through an initial public offering, Mankind Pharma has submitted its drafts red herring prospectus (DRHP) papers to market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) (IPO). The promoters of the company and currentshareholders will offer for sale (OFS) 4 crores (40,058,844) equity shares as part of the IPO. The company is backed by Ramesh Juneja, Rajeev Juneja, Sheetal Arora, Prem Sheetal Family Trust, and Ramesh Juneja Family Trust. The projected size of the IPO is around 5,500 crores, which could make it one of the biggest public offerings by a domestic pharmaceutical company ever. Mankind Pharma, a 1991 incorporation, is one of India’s top pharmaceutical firms.
