Indira Devi’s funeral will reportedly take place at Maha Prasthanam, according to a statement from Mahesh Babu’s family. Fans will be able to pay their final respects to her mortal remains at Padmalaya Studios.
“Smt Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, wife of veteran actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu, died recently.” She’d been sick for a while. At 9 a.m. today, her mortal remains will be kept at Padmalaya Studios for fans to visit, and the last rites will be performed at Maha Prasthanam “The statement was cited by News18.

Another tweet stated, “Please, God, give Mahesh Babu enough strength. Anna, I’m always there for you.” Someone else tweeted, “Indira garu, Om shanti (a term used to show respect to an elder). In May of this year, Mahesh made his last post for his mother on Instagram. Pictures of Indira, his wife Namrata Shirodkar, and their kids, Gautham and Sitara Ghattamaneni, had been uploaded by him. He had penned, “To my mother. To my mum, my pillar of strength. And a very happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the globe! Your love is priceless. Always show respect!”
Mahesh Babu uploaded a picture of himself holding Indira’s hand on Mother’s Day of the previous year. He had penned, ““Happy birthday Amma… Grateful for you every day.”.”
